Many users have asked if they can integrate Fireuploader with their site. Currently there are 2 ways to integrate.
Benefits of integrating with Fireuploader
The application is in the browser (where people spend most of the time).
The user-friendly framework is already in place and we promise to improve the layout in future.
Cheap. It would take lot of time, effort & money to develop a custom application from scratch.
Since we have the framework done, it would be lot faster and cheap to integrate with Fireuploader.
Your website would reach out to thousands of existing Fireuploader users(see below in option 2).
It works on all the 3 platforms, Windows, Linux and Mac.
Option 1: Easiest, Quickest & *Free(see below)
This would allow your users (with Fireuploader) to upload multiple files to your site. All you have to do is just place some javascript code in your web page (similar to google adsense). These are the steps...
As a Website Owner
Website owner registers their domain with Fireuploader.
Website owner keeps some javascript code on the webpage.
There will be "no" change in the traditional upload page.
User Experience
When a User (with fireuploader) visits the webpage, a panel opens automatically in their browser.
User drags-n-drop files on to the panel and they are uploaded to the website.

A small panel opens up where the users can drag-n-drop files and they are uploaded to your website.
A progress bar is included to see the status of the upload.
Note:
For security reasons, you cannot do cross-domain uploading.
ie. the website you own = website you register with Fireuploader = website you place the javascript code = website you are uploading

Cost:
Free
with some unobtrusive advertisements or a pro account for
$99
where no ads are shown.
Advantages:
Since it is in your web page, all the cookies are carry forward and hence the session. You can get it up running immediately.
Option 2: Customized Version
This allows to add your website in Fireuploader similar to Youtube or Flickr (i.e. in the site drop-down in Fireuploader). Your website should provide a REST API which Fireuploader consumes to communicate with your server.
Advantages:
Users can browse, upload and download their files easily in the dual-pane layout.
Since it is directly added in Fireuploader, it would reach out to thousands of existing Fireuploader users. It would be a great way to advertise your website.
This is lot better than writing a custom application.

Why is it not free?
It takes considerable amount of time & effort to customize Fireuploader to your website/API. We develop this on a part-time basis and we get many requests to add different sites. Since our resources are limited at this point, we cannot get all the websites & features integrated. So, we charge for the time and effort spent to customize your website.
